This beautiful vase is marked to the underside of the base with Made in Czecho Slovaki. It was made by the Amphora Porcelain Works. After the WW1 and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire Czechoslovakia was formed which encompassed the Czech countries, including Austria and the Slovakia countries. All Amphora pottery was stamped Czechoslovakia after WW1, prior to this it was stamped Austria. This belongs to the Campina series which was produced from 1909 through to the end of the 1930's.
The vase is a good size measuring 350mm tall and features a lovely design of little chickens. The matte background is a mottled green grey and the coloured and glossy design of the chicks and flowers contrast well.
There is no damage to this piece and it presents beautifully.
