This beautiful antique bangle is in very good condition.
The cuff bangle or bracelet has an Edwardian design with a large belt buckle detail. As well as this there is the traditional bright cut engraving of leafy foliage. The piece is hinged secures with the prong securing beneath the buckle frame.
The back is also ornately engraved. The inside is stamped 925 for sterling silver and has a makers mark of an ornate AA and a horse head. We have seen this mark on a few pieces of antique jewellery and thimbles but as yet have not been able to identify it.
There are very fine scratches and tiny marks from use. It has generally polished up really well. The hinge is firm and shows no wear.
The bangle is 64mm x 68mm x 25mm wide. It measures 33mm wide across the buckle.
