This pretty sterling silver Scottish goblet is small and hallmarked for Edinburgh with a date letter Z for the year 1881. It also bears the head of Queen Victoria and a makers mark of AF.
The goblet is in the form of a Scots Thistle bloom on a twisted stem on an engraved base. The base is slightly convex and prettily engraved with Scots Thistle blooms and leaves. To the middle is the banner which reads Dinna Forget.
The underside has a diamond registration lozenge partially covered by solder.
The cup itself has some indent and marks to the vertical engraving as shown.
The little goblet is 85mm tall and measures 42mm across the rim. It weighs 52.5gms.
