The metal based floor lamp has an ornate metal base with scrolls and acanthus leaf detail. The light fitting it self angles down and is complete with a vintage self patterned fabric covered shade. The metal stand is telescopic so provides a range of heights the lamp can be set to, in addition the light itself can be tilted making it a versatile and practical piece.
The finish to the lamp is a tinged green verdigris type and has small amounts of rust showing through adding a delightful patina to the piece.
The piece has been rewired to meet modern Australian standards and is safety tagged.
The lamp stands 1.6 metres tall and can be adjusted down by 25cm. The lamp is quite heavy and as such is stable.
