This elegant set is in very good condition.
The boxed set was given as a wedding gift. It is a setting for 12 people with 12 dinner knives and 12 entree knives, a carving knife and fork.
There are some spots and discoloration to some of the blades as is shown but overall this set is in very good condition. The knives have lovely long rounded blades. A few knife handles are more yellow than the others which we think is due to being used more often than the other knives. The handles are Xylonite and the blades are marked Rustnorstain.
The oak box is felt lined and in lovely condition. It is well made with attention to detail. The plaque to the front reveals this was given in 1925 by the deacons of the Cardiff Congregational church in 1925. It is a well travelled set.
