This elegant Art Deco set is marked for Njal. We have not been able to find an information on this brand. The spoons are alos marked with the Danish twin tower mark for silver plate indicating they were made sometime between 1890-1927.
We have found that the quality of Danish silver plate cutlery is very high. The silver plating is thick and pieces wear extremely well. The patterns are timeless in their appeal and so different from other designs generally found in Australia. We just love them.
The set comprises 9 teaspoons, all in very good condition. The pattern has a hammered finish to the handle and an ornate design to the finial.
There are fine scratches from use but as can be seen they present beautifully.
The teaspoons are 118mm long.
