This beautiful set of 8 is in the design called Viol by Jacob Bang for Holmegaard in 1928 and produced until 1940. The series started out in a violet blue but other colours were added as the years went by.
They are a white wine glass and as such have a coloured green bowl in a gorgeous colour called Nefritgron, translating as nephrite green.
The rims are all gilded. The design Viol has an optically ribbed bowl and a flower bud design to the stem.
The glasses are in lovely condition. The gold rims are nearly all in good condition with wear to only one rim as shown and darkening to another.
This is a rare find and these glasses retail for over AU$50 each in Denmark if you can find them.
The glasses stand 128mm tall and measure 85mm across the rim. They hold around 190mls when filled to the rim.
