These beautiful glasses were produced by Waterford Crystal and bear the second Waterford Crystal mark used after 1970. The design is called Kildare and features a criss cross design with vertical cuts and a plain base.
Although there are only 6 glasses photographed we have a seventh. There are 7 glasses in this set.
The set is free of damage with no chips, cracks, staining or clouding. Each is acid etched to the underside of the base with the Waterford signature.
The glasses were designed as a claret or red wine glass.
The glasses stand 165mm tall and measure 68mm across the rims.
The pieces are heavy and have the brilliance, sparkle and clarity one would expect from the highest quality crystal.
