This elegant vintage brooch is stamped within a cartouche Sterling Denmark with H.S. to the centre. The silversmith was Hermann Siersbol.
This is a genuine designer piece by Hermann Siersbol, one of Denmark's highly regarded silver smiths. He opened his workshop in 1945 with the purpose of designing and selling affordable stylish jewellery. He tragically died in an accident in 1964.
The brooch is large being 65mm long and features a leaf and berry design with raised veining.
The back has a sterling pin and a roll over safety clasp.
