This set of 6 is in the pattern Clausholm designed by Per Lutken as a glass series in 1957 for Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark. The design of this series features fine cuts to the crystal in a zigzag pattern terminating with engraved dots. It is delicate but very elegant. The glasses were made as a beer glass but are also good for water.
There is no damage to any of the pieces and the crystal is clean and clear. These glasses present beautifully. Being a hand blown set the thickness of the crystal varies from glass to glass and in so doing the colour of the crystal varies very slightly as well.
The glasses stand 132mm tall and measure around 80mm across the rim. The glasses hold around 250mls.
