This lovely set is in very good condition. The spoons are all marked with the Danish three tower mark with a minimun assay of 826/1000 and each has the Assay masters mark of SG for Simon Groth. 3 have a makers mark CM for C Mortensen, COpenhagen.
Each is marked with the date of manufacture below the three tower mark. 3 are marked 02 for 1902 and the other three are marked 04 for 1904.
The silver is bright and shiny and there is no wear, tears, corrosion or pitting. There are fine scratches from use or storage. The forms of the bowls show little wear with the original crisp detail indicating they have rarely been used. None of the spoons are engraved.
The spoons have twist handles with fruit, flowers and bow decoration to the finials. The finials tilt up at the ends and there is double line edging and fine beading in between to both the front and the backs.
The spoons are 113m long and the set weighs 53gms.
We have many items of solid silver cutlery.
