This elegant setting features a mirror finish with a beaded edging to the rounded handles.
The vintage cutlery set is simply marked Rodd to the backs and although a distinctive and traditional design we have not been able to identify the pattern. It dates to the late 1970's.
The blades have a mirror finish as shown.
The pieces are silver plated with stainless steel knife blades. The pieces have been lightly used and 4 of the knives have spots to the blades. These are shown and only occur to 4 dinner knives. All other pieces of cutlery in this set have no such marks. There are a fine scratches marks from storage and or polishing. This is most evident on the dessert spoons.
The vintage set comprises 6 hollow handled dinner knives with serrated blades, 6 hollow handled entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 dessert spoons, 6 soup spoons, 6 teaspoons and 1 table spoon. There are 43 pieces.
