These beautiful pieces are from New Zealand and feature an inlay of well figured Paua Shell to the sterling silver. The shell has been carefully carved to give detail to the designs cutting through the layers of shell creating exquisite patterns.
The back of the brooches and tie slide or clip are stamped for Sterling Silver. Two brooches feature the New Zealand Kiwi, another has the fern design while the last pin has a hand carved Tiki figure.
The Tiki pin has a small chip to the shell at the top to the right of the top red eye. There is no other damage and the shell is full of colour and very glossy.
The smallest fern brooch is 35mm x 16mm, the kiwi & fern brooch is 43mm x 116mm, the Tiki is 20mm x 15mm and the tie slide is 67mm long x 18mm.
