This lovely pair is in very good condition.
The jugs are small cream or milk jugs and made from a gorgeous cobalt blue glass. Each has been hand blown and each has a polished pontil mark to the underside where the glass blowers glass rod was broken at the end of blowing.
The design first appeared in the 1938 Holmegaard catalogues and was reissued in 1965.
One jug has a silver neck collar with a leaf design adding an elegant touch to an already lovely jug.
There is no damage to either piece.
The jugs stand 80mm and 60mm tall.
