These 2 spoons are well hallmarked for London and the year 1825 and Edinburgh year 1831. The makers mark for the London Spoon is Francis Higgins and the Scottish spoon is simply TAF. We cannot identify the mark.
The spoons have good form and are in the fiddle back design. The bowls are well shaped.
The Scottish spoon has an indent to the bowl as shown. The bowls are smooth and only show fine usage scratches.
Both spoons are engraved with the letter G to the finials. The spoons are matched in form and size.
The spoons are 220mm long and weigh 133gms.
