This lovely chair is in good condition.
It was manufactured in Denmark in the 1950's by Sibast Furniture and was designed by Helge Sibast in 1953. It is simply called No 7 Dining chair.
The original upholstery is in excellent condition with no holes or stains and is a grey green in colour.
The teak frame is painted black, and has a small scuffs and worn paint showing the teak beneath in several places. This is the original painted finish so we have left it as is. As it is such a rarity we have not restored the finish but left that to the new owner who may desires to have it painted again, leave as is or to remove the black entirely. There is a very small amount of movement to the back rest.
