This beautiful decanter was produced by Thomas Webb to commemorate the crowning of a monarch. There is debate as to which monarch, either Edward V111 or George V1. It is quite possible they were designed for the former and released for the latter.

The base is acid etched with the Tudor crown mark with Webb Coronation as shown.

The body is cut with an abstract pattern.

The stopper glows vividly under UV light indicating the yellow glass was coloured with uranium.

There is no damage to this lovely piece. No chips or fleabites. The rims and stopper are free from damage. The neck of the decanter and the stopper have matching engraved numbers 255 indicating they are a matched set.

The decanter is around 230mm to the top of the rim and 300mm to the top of the stopper when it is in place.
