This lovely vase was designed by Michael Bang for Holmegaard in 1983 and belongs to the Melody Series. Melody features hand applied deep burgundy decoration in an abstract musical stave or staff with notes.
This particular vase is ovoid in shape and each piece from this series is unique from the next but echoes each other in design. No two pieces are identical.
There is no damage to this lovely piece.
The vase is 170mm tall and 130mm in diameter. It is signed to the underside HG.
