This elegant Art Deco set was made in Denmark in the early 20th century and is in very good condition.
The pieces are marked P for plet (silver plate) and HH for the maker. The pieces have the Danish twin tower mark for silver plate used 1890-1927. All the pieces are engraved P.T. to the back of the handle tip.
The pattern is not one we can identify but is beautiful with a hand beaten or hammered design to the full length of the handles.
The delicate design features a scroll pattern to the finials which is echoed to the mid section.
There are 6 large dinner spoons measuring around 216mm long, 6 large dinner forks measuring around 214mm long.
There are fine usage scratches to all the pieces and there is wear to the left hand side of the fork tines as shown. The back of the spoons also have spot wear where they rest against a table top. Please see the photos.
The set still presents very well and wold grace any table with elegance.
