This lovely set is stainless steel and pieces are marked Lundtofte to some and Andersen & Burchardt to others. We assume that Lundtofte took over the Andersen & Burchardt company but cannot confirm this. The patterns are identical with all the pieces made in Denmark.
The handles have an elegant design to the finials with plain and sleek handles with a centre line and small V motif to the necks. The stainless steel is glossy and reflective. There are 12 Danish black handled knives to complete the set. These have black composite handles and stainless steel blades. The blades are marked A. Cero Copenhagen.
The set is stainless steel and comprises a setting for 12 people. There are 12 serrated blade black handled dinner knives, 12 dinner forks, 12 dessert or entree forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 dessert spoons, a gravy or sauce ladle, a large serving spoon and an extra large serving spoon. There is a total of 63 pieces. The set would date to around the 1950's.
There are fine scratches from use but the stainless steel sections are mirror reflective and glossy. They have well looked after. The knife handles show the most wear with fine nicks and marks to the surface as shown. The blades are well housed and firm.
