This beautiful necklace features a large heavy plaque like feature suspended on a thick double link chain. The central section is beautifully decorated with motifs that are most likely Inca as Ecuador was part of the Inca empire.
The back of the plaque is stamped with a makers mark we can't decipher and Ecuador, 950 for the silver content, a little higher grade than sterling.
It is an interesting and substantial piece. The necklace secures with a thick hook over link.
The decorated section measures 80mm long x 23mm wide x 1.5mm thick. The entire necklace measures 400mm long.
