This rustic garden bench is made from teak. It is a genuinely old piece with a beautiful worn patina. It was originally a Railway Bench in India.
The bench is well made and sturdy with tapered turned legs and arm supports. The seat is solid joined planks as shown.
The bench has metal strapping to the joins at the seat edge as can be seen and has numerous marks, nicks and indents. There are around 4 layers of paint in predominantly cream and blue with hints of green and pink, all pleasingly worn to various degrees, in some patches exposing the teak beneath.
It measures 183cm long and the seat is 52cm deep.
