This beautiful pendant light is called 'Bojen'.
Made from opaque acrylic textured sheeting, and designed by Lars Schioler for Hoyrup lighting it was both designed and made in Denmark in the 1960's.
The light is intricately folded and slotted together, creating a display of light and shadow when on, and it is still a decorative sculptural work of beauty when not in use.
It is in very good condition, with no tears, dents, or stains to the plastic. The top and base rims are dark brown plastic and are both are in very good condition.
The shade measures 235mm in height and measures around 280mm in diameter.
The piece has be rewired with new white pvc coated cord to be compliant with Australian Standards.
The shade, fitting, lamp holder and cord will all be included for Australian & New Zealand purchasers.
For International sales the cord will be cut short.
