This beautiful lamp is in very good condition.
This piece was designed by Einar Johansen for Soholm ceramics on the isle of Bornholm, Denmark. This piece would date to the late 1960's early 1970's.
The neck is glazed in a matt blue and the base a matt brown with the raw stoneware on the shoulder between the two with an incised pattern to the edges. .
The underside has the Soholm stamp as well as the EJ signature and hand made. It also has the design number 3050.
The lamp has been rewired to Australian Standards and safety tagged by our electrician. It retains the original switched bulb fitting which takes a readily available E27 bulb. The new cord is white in colour.
The shade is a new PVC shade made in Denmark by our shade supplier which sits a top a halo light fitting which will come with the lamp.
The lamp is 260mm to the top of the ceramic and 480mm tall including the shade.
The lamp would be ideal for a bedside, side table, shelf or sideboard.
For International sales the cord will be cut short for new wiring to be installed by your electrician.
