This beautiful clasp is stamped to the back of the main section and to the side of the slide out section 375 for 9ct gold with a makers mark of WG.
It is yellow gold and set with 7 white Akoya pearls. The pearls are perfectly round and have a good lustre. The central pearl is 7.5mm across and the 6 surrounding pearls are 3mm across.
The strand that this clasp was attached to was broken as can be seen and featured imitation pearls. From the colour difference we would surmise that the clasp was not original to the strand of imitation pearl beads.
The clasp is in lovely condition and has no wear or faults. It is for a single necklace strand.
The clasp is 13mm across and sits 10mm high.
