This beautiful necklace features a large central motif in an Art Nouveau style . It is an Australian piece produced by Lega, Melbourne, makers of fine marcasite sterling silver jewellery from around 1948.
The necklace is marked to the back Lega and has the pattern number 202. Although there is no silver mark we guarantee it is sterling silver. The sterling silver chain is secured to the back with a barrel clasp.
The silver necklace has good patina and presents beautifully. There are no missing stones or repairs.
The necklace is 435mm long with the central decorative section being 113mm across. The large central motif is 34mm x 40mm.
