This beautiful lamp is in excellent condition with no damage.
Made in Denmark the base features a dark turquoise blue glaze over a raised design around the top part of the base. The glaze has thinned over the ridges of the design causing the colour to change to a gorgeous pale blue creating a contrast to the darker surrounds.
The piece is marked Soholm Stentoj and has the Finne mark as well. Arne Finne was a Norwegian who worked at Soholm during the 1970's. His work is difficult to find and this particular design is the only one of its type we have found.
The lamp has the original Danish fitting and has been completed with a new PVC white pleated Danish shade which clips onto the bulb. The fitting takes a standard E27 screw globe. All wiring has been redone and it has been safety tested and tagged.
The pottery base measures 170mm tall to the top of the ceramic. The total height including shade is 340mm. The lamp has an inline switch to the white cord.
The lamp would be ideal for a bedside, side table, shelf or sideboard.
For International sales the cord will be cut short for new wiring to be installed by your electrician.
