This lovely pair of stoneware lamps is in very good condition.
These hand made pieces were designed by Helge Bjufstrom for Michael Andersen & Sons Denmark.
The lamp bases have a course texture to stoneware to the necks and an incised glazed pattern around the base. Both are matching.
The undersides of these pieces still retain their stickers as can be seen with the model number 6254. The three herring impressed mark is also present as well as the Helge Bjufstrom signature, an entwined BF.
The lamps have been rewired to Australia Standards with new black bulb fittings and dull gold switch in line cords. The bulb fittings take an E27 screw in bulb.
The lamps would be ideal for as bedside, or a side table, shelf or sideboard.
The lamps are 170mm tall to the top of the ceramic and 300mm to the top of the drum shades. The included shades are a neutral open weave fabric covered PVC.
For International sales the cord will be cut short for new wiring to be installed by your electrician.
