This beautiful Danish set is in very good condition and features an elegant Art Nouveau design to the handles with traditional Scandinavian banding to the necks.
They were designed for S. Chr Fogh (active 1947-1973) and their mark SCF is to the back of each piece. In addition the pieces are marked with the Danish quality torch mark used after 1932. Some pieces are stamped Silvett, the trade name for Fogh's silver plate wares. This set would date to around 1950.
This is a setting for 6 people. There are 6 dinner forks, 6 dinner spoons, 6 dessert spoons and 6 teaspoons. In addition there are 5 serving pieces including a gravy or sauce ladle, a small serving or jam spoon, a large serving spoon, a cake server and a very large serving spoon. There are 29 pieces.
The only piece that shows significant marks in the form of many scratches is the very large serving spoon. I debated as to include it or not but decided the purchaser can make a decision as to what to do with it when they get it. If it was me I would still find it very useful.
As for the other pieces they are in lovely condition and only show fine usage marks. There is no bubbling, corrosion or loss to the plating.
This is a high quality, elegant and beautiful set in very good condition.
