This pair is in very good condition. Originating from Denmark they retain their original double insulated wiring and porcelain bulb holders.
The lights are identical and feature an enamelled white outer over an aluminum base. They retain their original labels for Focus lighting in Denmark and the design is called Confetti, 1091.
They were designed by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. They are part of a series of geometrically inspired lighting that was completed by 1970.
The lights were designed to take a half mirror globe set lower than the shade for their light reflecting properties. These bulbs are still available at specialty lighting chops today, however the use of an ordinary E27 globe doesn't take away from the design of the lights.
The lights measures 135mm in height and 140mm in diameter. The globe holders are porcelain.
There is no damage to the lights, no dents or scratches or staining. ( Any dark patches are shadows) The wiring is supple and could be reused or replaced if so desired.
These would be ideal accent lighting hung low over a side table or either side of a bed.
