This genuine strand of Bakelite Prayer Beads is in lovely condition.
The strand features cut beads of opaque Bakelite in a rich butterscotch colour. The strand is threaded on the original double twisted thread and is continuous.
The beads have tested positive for Bakelite with Simichrome polish. The feature beads have been hand cut in a decorative design and the smaller beads are uniform in size and polished with rounded ends.
There is no damage to this strand or the beads.
The largest beads are 45mm x 20mm and 38mmx 10mm.
The strand weighs just over 81gms and measures 880mm long.
