This beautiful powder compact was made by Asprey and is fully Hallmarked for Sterling Silver, Birmingham, 1934 (date letter K). It also has the King George V Jubilee Head mark.

It is in very good condition with only light surface scratches to the black enamel, no chips or cracks.

To open the compact the top and the bottom must be slid away from each other in opposite directions. It opens and shuts securely. There are some internal scratches to the silver due to the contact points when sliding.

The mirror has a few small black spots as seen in the photos.

The piece presents very nicely and measures 7.4cm in diameter and is square.
