Product Description

This serving dish was designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo, Norway. It is one of her most famous and popular designs called Market designed in around 1963.

The design is screenprinted and depicts a moustached market holder selling vegetables. The two ladies appear to be chatting and deciding what to buy.

There are a few light utensil scratches to the design lengthwise down the length of the dresses and baskets. There are no other marks, stains or chips to the piece. The colours are bright and show no fading.

The dish is long and designed as a gratin dish for serving cheesy leeks or cauliflower. It is a versitile piece.

The ovenware dish is 320mm x 170mm x 50mm deep.
