Product Description
This lovely piece is in wonderful condition.
Made by Hjorth Pottery on the Isle of Bornholm, Denmark the piece it is decorated with a raised scallop design. The glaze is quite beautiful and has a mid and pale blue over green. The high spots of the piece show green as the glaze thins. The rich is a rich mid blue.
The piece is signed to the underside L Hjorth Denmark and the design number of S 81. It also has the little stag stamp belonging to the pottery. The piece is stoneware as indicated with the pattern number containing an S.
There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
The piece is 153mm tall and 79mm across.
