Danish Bing and Grondahl Dahl Jensen 3 Sparrow Figurine 1670

This figurine is in very good condition.

Made by famous Danish porcelain factory Bing & Grondahl and marked with the three towers of Copenhagen to the underside of the base it dates to a manufacturing period of 1970-1983. It was designed by famous designer, artist and sculpture Dahl Jensen and bears his intertwined initials DJ. The piece is also marked 1670 for the design which is called Protection.

The figure depicts a family of sparrows with one parent feeding the baby with the other parent hovering with outspread wings

The piece is a factory first and in excellent condition.

The figurine stands 85mm tall and measures 185mm long.
