Art Deco Shelley Trio Peaches & Grapes c.1930

This beautiful trio is in lovely condition.

The pieces can be dated to between 1925 and 1945 by the style of backstamp to the base. The stunning Deco trio is in the Queen Anne shape and features pattern number 11498 named 'Peaches and Grapes'. It is also marked 723404 indicating the pattern was first registered and placed in the pattern books in 1926.

The pattern has clusters of peaches and bunches of grapes to each narrow panel and a grey vine design to the larger panels. The background is pure white. All are trimmed in black.

There are multiple trios available and all are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and 'ring' nicely when tapped gently. There is little to no wear to the pieces that all present beautifully. There is no wear to the edging and all white areas seen in the photos are a result of light reflecting off of the pieces.

 The cup measures 62mm high and 85mm in diameter at the rim.
