8 Vintage Holmegaard Else Red Wine glasses 1919

This beautiful set of 8 is in the design called Else first released by Holmegaard and made at Kastrup Glassworks in 1919. The glasses were designed as a red wine glass but because of their flute shape would be most elegant as a small champagne. The glasses have a fan cut to the bowl with criss cross patterning with a fine line cross to the centre of each panel. They are really lovely.

There is no damage to these glasses and the crystal is bright and clear.

The glasses are 162mm tall and 64mm across the rims.
