1930's Vintage Swedish Gustavsberg Prince Eugens Planter

Designed by Prince Eugens of Sweden for Gustavsberg this has become an iconic piece if Swedish ceramics. It is large and beautifully made and finished. The Gustavbergs mark to the back is pre 1940 using the old spelling of Gustafsberg. It is signed by prince Eugens and dated 1915 when this piece was first released. It was designed to hold plants on display inside with an elegant flair rather than fussy Edwardian style jardinieres.

The piece is without fault.

The planter is large and measures 250mm across and 130mm tall.
